Speed up old photos
A one-off spring clean. Safe to press.

What it does: photos from a phone are huge (about 5MB). The website only shows them small, so it swaps in
smaller copies. Pages then load faster. They still look sharp. When to press it: once, ever. New photos are shrunk automatically as they're uploaded. Is it safe? Yes. Your originals are never deleted, and a backup file downloads to your computer first.
Takes a few minutes. Leave this tab open until it says finished.
Something went wrong — undo it
Find the backup file that downloaded when you pressed start (called photo-backup-….json), then choose it here.
Every photo goes back to exactly how it was.
Add crag
Optional — adds a “Directions” link to the crag’s map card.
Pick one. Sport is the default for outdoor crags.
